This is Sam, a spoiled 11-month-old pit bull dog having a conversation with Spirit, a much wiser 15 years old Husky. You can totally tell the age difference by the way they behave and act.
The pit pup is laying down, with his front paws reaching for the toy that Spirit owns; he wants to play with it but doesn’t know how to get it.
He cutely starts growling and gets closer…but the wise husky knows what he is trying to do, and starts barking at him. It’s his toys and warns him not to touch it! LOL. 🙂
Being the older dog, Spirit puts Sam in his place, and the inexperienced pup seems to understand. The message is pretty clear, you are not getting it, beg all you want.
When the pit puts his paw over it, Spirit barks intensively, so Sam finally seems to realize it’s better not to try and steal it.
As with any breed of a dog, the pit bull’s temperament and tolerance to other dogs are influenced by the level of training, socialization, resilience, context and so on.
The true nature of canines is to avoid conflict, not to fight against each other. A well-socialized and well-trained pit bull is the most wonderful and gentle dog ever. And this is the perfect example.
Sam doesn’t become aggressive, he accepts that it’s Spirit’s toy and just sits there sad that he can’t play with it.

Bubba, a 6-year-old rescue pit bull dog has always been obsessed with cats. Now, he finally has a new little sister
Rebecca Pizzello rescued Bubba from a shelter in Phoenix, Arizona, when he was just a tiny 3 months old puppy. Now, he is 6-year-old, and waited for his whole life to have his own kitty!
The same time when he was adopted, he shared his room with a litter of kittens that had been saved by a mommy’s friend, so his fondness for cats is tremendous. He just clicked with them and he simply became obsessed with the little ones.
“Since then, Bubba has had an endless affection for cats. Like, literally obsessed. I always knew he’d love having one of his own, but I wanted to wait until we moved to New York City [from Los Angeles] this year.”
Not long after moving, she managed to save a little ginger kitten from the shelter as well, and brought her home to him! She named her Rue, and they connected instantly; they are like two peas in a pod!
“Rue stood out like no other and I took her home as fast as I could,” Pizzello said. “The fact that Bubba and Rue have identical coloring still blows my mind … I knew Bubba would be filled with joy the second we walked in the door and boy was I right.”
Bubba the pit bull immediately knew he needs to be gentle with his new little sister, to protect her, so only after a few hours of settling into her new home, the kitten fell asleep right on top of her big brother.
“Rue thinks Bubba is her mom and Bubba loves it,” she said. “He bathes her like a baby and snuggles close to her to make her comfortable.”
According to Rebecca, Bubba likes to “bathe [Rue] like a baby.”
“If I walk away somewhere, [Bubba] always follows me. Now I will say, ‘Go watch your sister,’ and he turns around and goes and watches where she is,” she said.
“They will definitely be a fun duo to watch grow up together,” Pizzello added. For that, you can follow them on Instagram: Bubba and Rue
Pit bull dog Indy starts playing around with her horse buddy Aspen! Amazing run! :))
Indy is a curious and friendly 6 years old pit bull dog. She starts playing around with her best friend, a horse named Aspen
Indy is a curious and friendly 6-year-old pit bull dog. She is very energetic and loves the countryside.
She starts playing around with her best friend, a horse named Aspen and they are having a tremendous run together! Running full speed ahead is so much fun, especially when you have a partner! 🙂
It’s actually a regular game, they do this often and they have a wonderful bond together. They cutely remind us that love is the answer!
As soon as the pittie starts running, the horse follows her and they race until they reach the end of the stable. Then, they start the next round, on their way back!
They simply can’t get enough of it, and they enjoy each other’s presence so much. It’s quite an unusual friendship if you think about it, but there are many cases when pit bulls and horses have a special relationship like this one.
Horses do have a welcoming character to other kinds of animals, and totally enjoy the presence of other species around them.
Pit bulls clearly need early socialization and training, but they are a very friendly breed, so if they are exposed to different people, sights, and other animals, they will clearly make a lot of friends! 🙂
Very athletic and dynamic, a Pit Bull will definitely love to run and compete along with a strong opponent.
Even if they are separated by a fence, this adorable couple show us the true loving nature of animals in general, and pit bulls in particular! Amazing!
Big bad vicious Pit bull dog is terrified of cat! OMG, wasn’t this suppose to be the other way around?! :)
The reputation pit bulls is well known. This goofy pittie sees a cat, and curiously tries to check her out and play with it
The reputation of pit bulls is well known; they are big bad dogs, aggressive and dangerous! Not to mention vicious; so vicious! They are born to fight! But are they really like that?!
Usually, pitbulls are very friendly with other animals and they are so curious about them. There are so many cases when pits and cats are best friends, snuggling and cuddling together. Playing, having fun, being like two peas in a pod!
But that requires early socialization that can help create a relationship of friendliness and tolerance between a dog and other animals, and especially cats.
Sometimes, is nothing like that…
This goofy pittie sees a stray cat when being outside and curiously tries to check her out and play with it. He starts running around, not knowing how to make a proper approach….
He comes in peace, and all he wants is to have some fun together, but the feline doesn’t seem in the mood for making new friends. She wants to be left alone.
Unfortunately, after a few failed attempts of interaction, the cat is totally pissed off and goes for the attack! :))
As soon as the cat starts running towards him, the big bad pit bull starts screaming and running as fast as he can! In about 2 seconds he simply vanishes in total fear!
All he wants is to get out of there as soon as possible, hoping she is not on his tracks. :)))
Wasn’t this supposed to be the other way around?
Hilarious reaction! :))
